Coral Springs Charter Panthers Prepare for Championship Game

Showdown takes place at Florida Atlantic University Stadium

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla (Nov. 12, 2014) – Coral Springs Charter Panthers will take on the Calvary Christian Eagles in the Southeastern Football Conference Championship game. The Title game will be held 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15 at Florida Atlantic University Stadium in Boca Raton. Tickets are available prior to the game until Friday at Coral Springs Charter School for $10 and can be purchased at the main office or at Gate One at the stadium beginning at 6 p.m. on game day. Florida Atlantic University charges $10 for parking.

The teams overcame rivals in the sixteen team conference to advance to the championship. Teams came from Palm Beach, Broward, Dade, and Monroe Counties to compete.

“We are very proud of our boys,” said Mike Higgins, athletic director at Coral Springs Charter. “Our teams have fought some very fierce battles to get here and we are ready to continue to work hard to bring home the title.”

Coral Springs Charter School was established in 1999 through the joint effort of Charter Schools USA and the City of Coral Springs. The school has maintained an “A” grade for 10 consecutive years.
