Veteran leader chosen to open new school

KISSIMMEE, FL (March 29, 2017)Julie Ramirez will be the founding principal for Renaissance Charter School at Boggy Creek, a brand new CSUSA school to open in August 2017Julie Ramirez has been selected to be the founding principal of Renaissance Charter School at Boggy
Creek located off Narcoossee Road at 4480 Boggy Creek Road. Ramirez brings more than 17 years of educational experience and leadership. She most recently served as principal at Canoe Creek Charter Academy in St. Cloud.

Ramirez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from West Chester University in West Chester, PA where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from University of West Florida.

“Ms. Ramirez has a deep understanding of our successful educational model and will provide a solid foundation from which our new school can grow,” said April Williams, regional director of education for Charter Schools USA. “Her passion for putting students first in every decision will be the catalyst for excellence our students will experience at Renaissance Boggy Creek.”
