At the CSUSA 2016 Summit, we asked staff members to reflect and think of a project that would make a difference in the lives of their students, their school, and their community. Once staff members had that “eureka” moment, we asked them to apply for the Seeds of Hope Grant. This grant is designed to fund projects that help exemplify what Charter Schools USA strives to achieve in the lives of the students and communities it serves.
Our staff members heard the call and the applications came rolling in over the weeks following the Summit. We received several highly qualified and admirable entries which made our decision to award grant funds to just one project very difficult. After careful thought and consideration, we decided to award funds to three projects.
