Covid-19 Update

CSUSA is committed to protecting the health and safety of our teachers, students, their families, and the community. We understand that many of you are concerned about the COVID-19 outbreak, and have created this page to share important information and resources. We are working closely with and following the lead of all local, state, and federal health and government organizations at the forefront of the coronavirus response, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

What You Should Do

  • Keep informed from a reliable source about the latest coronavirus developments by visiting the CDC’s dedicated website on COVID-19.
  • Practice disease prevention strategies: Wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and disinfect surfaces that you frequently use such as countertops, desktops, and your phone. Click here for some easy and useful tips.

This is a rapidly evolving situation, and we will do our best to keep you informed as updates become available, including school closures. Because our schools are following the local school district’s policy on school closures during the COVID-19 outbreak, we have provided links below to each district for easy reference. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

For our employees, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. Please click on the document below to find more information on your rights, as well as timelines and requirements. Please reach out to your supervisor if you have any questions.
