Cardinal Charter Academy’s principal, Nicholas Shosho, has been awarded the “Administrator’s Champion for Student Success” award for 2016-2017, a recognition given annually by the NC State Department of Instruction. He has been selected to receive this award from among all of the 115 public school districts in the state, and among the approximately 3,000 principals in North Carolina.

This is a very prestigious award that also recognizes educators in the following four categories: Teachers, School Administrators, Central Office Personnel, and Volunteers. Mr. Shosho was awarded for his outstanding work developing the full potential of his entire school family and always putting his students’ needs first.

He will be recognized at an upcoming dinner, but students and teachers couldn’t wait to throw a surprise party for him in honor of this great achievement! All the students signed a banner for him, made congratulatory signs and lined up for high-fives!

Congrats Mr. Shosho, and thank you for being a role model to our whole school family!
