TAVARES — Lake County School Board members have OK’d an application for a new charter school that has no definite plans for a location.

Board members approved the Renaissance Charter School at Lake application after questioning how the school’s location would affect attendance at district schools. The district is in the process of tentatively redrawing next year’s attendance boundaries for some schools in south Lake.
